Cloud Atlas

Posted 01 Nov 2012 in Featured Movie, Fiction

I fully expected to have trouble sitting through this nearly three hour movie. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by the fast pace and compelling narrative. I loved the nonlinear storylines, the gripping vignettes and thrilling action sequences.

Moving in and out of time as seamlessly as it weaves in and out of lives and relationships, “Cloud Atlas explores how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution.”

Great movie. Mythology worthy of the Matrix and Bladerunner.
